Security Officer


Career Overview

  • The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property.
  • Implements and maintains a safe and welcoming environment for all by implementing security protocols and procedures.
  • This role requires a vigilant and proactive individual with excellent observational and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree holder / college graduate in Criminology or equivalent; additional training in security or law enforcement is a plus.
  • Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform security duties, including walking, standing, and lifting.
  • Certification in occupational safety and first aid is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
